Poinciana Medical Center Is The Missing Link For SoliVita Active Adults.

Getting old hurts. Physically hurts. No matter how healthy we are our bodies age and our joints and muscles wear out. So….we hurt.

Good news for SoliVita residents is that the Poinciana Medical Center is well under construction and should be up and running later this year. Now when us older baby boomers need medical care we just have to cross the street to go to the Poinciana Medical Center.

How cool is that? Check out the Poinciana Medical Center web site here.

From the Poinciana Medical Center site:

Poinciana Medical Center will be a two-story, 100,000 square foot building with 24 private medical-surgical beds and a six-bed ICU. In support of both inpatient and outpatient care, the facility will provide a full range of acute care services including emergency services, diagnostic imaging, inpatient and outpatient surgery, cardiac catheterization, laboratory, pharmacy, and a full range of support services.  The Emergency Department will be approximately 11,000 square feet with 12 exam rooms. In addition, the facility will include a 16-slice CT, radiography, fluoroscopy room and ultrasound. The facility will include an EMS entrance and helicopter pad for rapid transport of critically ill patients to Osceola Regional Medical Center.
